Salar De Uyuni or The Bolivian Salt Flats is the largest of it’s kind in the world at over 10,000 square kilometres. Located in the south of Bolivia, there is said to be about 10 billion tons, of which some is harvested every year for you salt addicts out there. Once every year there is an opportunity to take awesome photos when the flats are filled with water, creating a giant mirror! It’s not doubt that tourist and gringos from all over the world flock here for the chance at some creative photos to post to their Instagram.
